Days End Farm and Horse Rescue
DEFHR is a small farm located in Central Maryland, with the express purpose of rescuing and rehabilitating neglected and abused horses and other farm animels. The stories these creatures tell are sometimes horrifying and always sad. For One summer, my daughters and I had the opportunity to volunteer and become "Friends" with these wonderful animals. We even had one who became "OURS" for the time we were there. The farm can use your help. If you live nearby and are able, please donate some time. They can use you no matter what your skill level! They will teach you what you need to know. If you do not live close by, they can always use donations of other kinds.
